So, I did a live webinar for Writer.ly this week. The topic was “finding your target reader”. As much as my goofy headset makes me look, well, goofy, I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I do think if you watch this, you will be able to find your target reader. Big thanks to the Writer.ly crew for hosting and facilitating. By the by, if you are an indie author or other related professional, you should check out their website.
Don’t hesitate to ask any follow up questions you might have here, and I will do my best to respond in a timely fashion.
The summary version of my message:
There is a lot of market share to be had by good writers of awesome books
You are not broadcasting to an audience, you are communicating with individuals
You MUST know who those people are
If you do not take the time to make that determination, you are a spammer, and no one will want to read your book.
Happy Marketing!
